"I scatter the ashes into the ocean as the deceased wished, but I felt lonely and guilty after the scatter."

Reasons why the cost of marine burial at sea at Myorin-ji is low

I often get the question, "Why is the burial at sea on behalf of Myorin-ji so low?", But there is a reason.

(1) At the request of the town, Myorin-ji receives a permanent memorial service at low cost as part of its social contribution.

(2) There is no labor cost because the chief priest does all the work such as powdering bones, memorial services, ship maneuvering, and bone cutting by himself.

③ Costs are kept down by performing it at the same time as the "Shonan Marine Memorial Service" that was originally performed at sea during the equinoctial week.

④ Twice a year, we keep costs down by limiting the remains of a total of 20 spirits.

⑤ Unlike other bone-cutting companies, we do not provide various courses such as charter bone-cutting, and we only perform proxy bone-cutting to keep costs down.

⑥ As a commemorative project for the 800th anniversary of the birth of the founder Nichiren Saint, we are working so that anyone can use it.

⑦ I would like many people to know about the temple called “Fukujuyama Myorin-ji” that is engaged in such activities.

We also accept requests from temples

At "Myorin-ji Shonan Marine Memorial Service", we also perform a proxy bone-cutting memorial service at the request of the temple.

● The Dan family, who has no heirs, closes the tomb, so I want to scatter the remains.

● I have an unrelated Buddha's remains and want to scatter them

● I have ashes that I want to scatter, but if I ask a contractor, it will be expensive.

We accept many requests from temples who are worried about the above.

Religions and denominations do not matter, but the memorial service for the memorial service is based on the Nichiren sect.

greeting

In recent years, an increasing number of people do not have graves and want to scatter the ocean.

However, it is said that some bereaved families feel lonely and guilty after scatter the ocean as the deceased wishes.

"Is this really good ...?"

"Is the Buddhahood made properly ...?"

Nice to meet you.

I am the chief priest of the temple "Myorin-ji", which is the closest to the sea in Shonan.

Since it is a temple near the sea, we often hear the worries of such people.

We may regret that we did not hold a proper memorial service or memorial service during the marine scatter, and later receive a request to do a memorial service for the deceased.

"A generous memorial service for all Buddhas"

From this thought, "Myorinji Shonan Marine Memorial Service" was born.

At "Myorin-ji Shonan Marine Memorial", the chief priest of Myorin-ji will do everything from powdered bones to bone-cutting together with the Buddhist memorial service.

The chief priest will steer himself and carry the precious remains and the feelings of the bereaved family to the sea of Shonan.
