About the cremation of large animals weighing 36 kg or more

It is not possible to cremate large animals weighing 36 kg or more at the Myorin-ji facility.

​

Animals weighing 36 kg or more will be cremated in a crematorium dedicated to large animals.

Cremation will take 1-2 days after the funeral.

Since it will be a proxy cremation, you cannot witness the cremation.

Plan flow of "funeral + cremation + 49th day memorial service + bone-feeding memorial service + bone-feeding to pet grave + permanent memorial service" for animals weighing 36 kg or more

After the funeral, the staff will carry the body to a dedicated crematorium.

Please come to Myorin-ji Temple to pick up your ashes in a day or two.

Please come with your ashes at the 49 days memorial service.

After the 49 days memorial service, we will deliver the bones to the pet grave.

* After cremation, it is possible to put the bones in the pet grave as it is.
